About The Yoga Club
The Yoga Club is a small cozy studio where lessons are given to a maximum of 8-9 people. The studio is approximately 40m2, so there is enough space to perform the poses unimpeded. The atmosphere is accessible and open, there is time and attention for all yogis.

Various classes are given in De Yoga Club:
Vinyasa Flow
A dynamic powerful form of yoga, the postures are performed to the rhythm of the breath, creating a flow. You build up strength and flexibility, your energy comes into balance so that you are more relaxed.
Vinyasa Slow Flow
The pace is slower here, there is more time to get into the poses and to find peace and relaxation, very suitable for when you start with Vinyasa Flow or if you want to move on the flow but want to take it easy.

Yin Yang Yoga
The Yin poses focus on making the connective tissue around the joints and organs stronger and more flexible. These are mainly sitting and lying postures that are held for about 3 to 5 minutes. The Yang poses are more focused on strengthening the muscles, which ensures a powerful flexible body. The Yang part is active, we move to the rhythm of our breath, creating a flow. Yang poses are mainly standing poses.
Yin Yoga
The focus is on the connective tissue (connective tissue is stiff and not very flexible). That is why we remain in the pose or sit for about 3 to 5 minutes. The area we focus on is the hips, pelvis, spine and shoulders. We try to create as much space as possible so that tension can be released. Yin poses are often sitting and lying poses.

Relax & Flow
A gentle and relaxed flow, the focus here is more on stretching and making space. We hold the poses longer and everything goes at a leisurely pace, so we can closely follow and feel what we are doing. We try to focus our attention inward and leave everything else for what it is. This flow is suitable for everybody. (No downward facing dogs or planks)

Private lessons
Would you like to take a yoga class privately or with your partner/friends? The costs are 42,50 euro per hour for 1 to 2 people. Ask for the possibilities.

Brigitte in 't Veld
Let me introduce myself: I'm Brigitte. I teach Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yang and Yin Yoga. I followed my training for this at the Nieuwe Yogaschool in Amsterdam.
​
Yoga is part of my life, it makes your body stronger, more flexible and you build stamina. But yoga is also becoming aware of your body - how that feels - yoga can sometimes be a challenge physically and mentally, an exercise in patience, learning to accept, Knowing limits, being content with who you are and what you can do, It can be liberating and feeling, yoga is not a contest, so leave your ambition behind. Live more in the moment. learn to relax, realize the influence your breath has on your constitution.
In short, yoga is more than just exercises on the mat. If you want it can become a way of life. It brings peace to your mind, peace to your heart and all that in a healthy, strong and flexible body. I would like to share my enthusiasm and love for yoga with you in De Yoga Club.

Health information
There is an air purifier in the studio, Air purifiers provide healthier air for people with asthma, hay fever and other respiratory ailments and protect against viruses such as Covid-19. Nevertheless, we ask you to take care of yourself and to stay home if you have flu and cold complaints.

Lessons & schedule
There are 8-10 places available per class. Because the groups are small, it is useful to
to book in advance. If you have reserved and are unable to attend,
please cancel online 6 hours in advance. If you are still in doubt, book a trial lesson at a reduced rate.

It is nice to be present 5 to 10 minutes before the class starts, you then have time to relax and start the yoga class relaxed.
